Our two local venues - The Albright Hussey Manor and Rowton Castle

Hi Everyone

You will see the page above in our online eBrochure on our Contact Page.

We have a busy Bank Holiday Weekend ahead of us with three Weddings. One at Rowton Castle, one at The Albright Hussey Manor and one at Northop Hall. We might not be doing much on Tuesday!

I will - however - check my emails - so if you are planning your Wedding and would like all our information - just email me or fill out the form on our contact page - and I will get the information to you by email [and post if required].

Love to hear from you and find out more about your Wedding Plans - especially if you are planning a 2011 or 2012 Wedding as we have a very full diary for 2010!

Wedding Tasting Event!

If you have a little time - please look at my past blogs....

Hi Everyone

Just been invited to the Tasting Event at Delbury Hall, Diddlebury, Shropshire on 27 February 2011 by Ludlow Catering Company. Willem and Pippa are inviting all those who have booked Delbury Hall, Diddlebury, Shropshire as their Venue. We're not getting married there! We are there to chat to couples about what we do! Just thought I would say!

We will have all our Show Albums at the Event and will be chatting to everyone about their Wedding Photography ideas and thoughts!

We love Delbury Hall - well worth short listing for your Wedding Venue either for a wedding civil ceremony & wedding reception or wedding reception.
We have sampled Willem and Pippa's food before and it is delicious and very contemporary.

We are at Shrewsbury Cathedral and The Albright Hussey Manor tomorrow - weather is looking good again!

Please have a look at our brand new Recommended By page on our website if you have time.

I can email and post you our folder of information and pricing - just fill out the form on our Contact Page.

Have a good weekend. Warm regards. Julia

A FEW THINGS ABOUT WEDDINGS & US!

Hi Everyone

Martin and I were chatting today whilst he post-edited the photographs from a recent Wedding at Hawkstone Park - I watched him as he created some beautiful, contemporary effects on some of the photographs [always leaving the original on the DVD]. I said 'do you think our enquirers realise what work you do on the photographs?' - we decided that perhaps you don't. So just let me flag up that Martin looks at every photograph to make sure it is optimum - all professional photographers do this. He also creates what I can only call 'wedding art' with a good number of the photographs. My favourite is Hollywood Glow!

The print-ready DVD [printable up to poster size] is always available but is optional.

Another thing which is very important to Martin and me is the time we spend with our couples. Apart from the hour or so at a first meeting when we have a good chat about the Wedding - we always have a site/briefing meeting before the Wedding when we 'walk through' the Wedding - this can be an evening or a Sunday and usually a couple of hours. All included in our service.

So if you would like to know what we
charge for being on your team on your Wedding Day just email me and I will send you our PDF of Pricing. We are not really selling 10x8 inch prints - we are not really selling Wedding Albums - we are not really selling Canvas Wraps and Acrylics - not really selling a print-ready DVD - although we sell all those things.........

What we are selling is our vision. From this vision comes the creative opportunity we have on your Wedding Day. This is the investment you make in having us there on your Wedding Day - your story captured forever.

Wedding Albums are an option with us too - you do not have to have an Album - however in creating a Queensberry Wedding Album [our main range] or SIM2000 Wedding Album [our second range] we are packaging our vision as a timeless story for the future - and a safe place for your Wedding Story. A Wedding Album gives the story permanence, presence and protection. These things are a worthwhile investment if it fits into your plans/dreams/ideas/aspirations.

I am 100% sure though that your dreams for your Wedding Day will include having the best of days and we would like to help make that happen.

If you have any questions at all - please just email or give me a ring!

Warm regards. Julia

THE FUN WALL AT OUR WEDDINGS!

Hi Everyone

I thought I would share this photograph above from a recent Fun Wall Studio [which we set-up for the evening at Weddings!] Gemma was such a gorgeous Bride and she loved the Fun Wall - as did all the guests! If you would like to know more about this option from Spinning Your Dreams - just email me or ring me!

Have a look at our Fun Wall page on our website and click on the link in the purple box and you will see a short video of the Fun Wall. Andy Jones at Cam3 very kindly set-up the link for us.

We are now at a time when we have Weddings every week. Most of my enquiries are for 2011 now - I did get an enquiry for October 2010 today and we were available. We have a couple of Saturdays during the months of May, June, July and August but only a couple still available.

We have been at Mellington Hall near Church Stoke in Powys, Hawkstone Park near Shrewsbury and Rowton Castle near Shrewsbury, Shropshire in recent weeks. I will blog about those Weddings soon.

Martin and I would love to have a chat with you about your Wedding and if you are planning a 2011 Wedding don't leave it too long to be in touch! We booked a great many of this Summer's Weddings over a year ago! It is never too early to make contact with us!

Hope to hear from you. Warm regards. Julia

WINTER WONDERLAND AT ROWTON CASTLE AND FISHMORE HALL

ROWTON CASTLE - John and Georgina [George] -

we were with John and George earlier in January and had a lovely day at Rowton Castle - there was snow - but we still got out for a few romantic shots. We did the group shot inside which is very easy at Rowton.

FISHMORE HALL - LUDLOW - Jim and Charlotte
-

we had a really fab day with Jim and Charlie at Fishmore Hall in Ludlow on 22 January. There was a great deal of fun had and we enjoyed being with Jim and Charlie and their guests very much indeed. They live in Switzerland and had in fact booked us via email! We met them the day before their Wedding when we went to Fishmore Hall to have a Briefing Meeting.

We have a Wedding this weekend at Mellington Hall which is a lovely venue - I don't think it is going to be snowy - I just hope it is not rainy!

Whilst blogging I will just mention that we will be at the Wedding Fayre at Millers of Netley near Dorrington [link to Millers of Netley on our recommended by page on our website]. It is on Sunday 21 March from 11 - 4. Perhaps see you there - we will have a brand new contemporary Queensberry Show Album which is being created at the moment [we have many others too of both our range of Wedding Albums.]

Do get in touch if you would like a chat about your Wedding - or fill out the form on our contact page and I will ring you. Love talking Weddings!

WEDDING VENUES - IS ONE OF THEM YOURS?

Hi everyone

I thought I would just make a note in a blog of venues where we have photographed Weddings and Venues on our patch [and off] as it were! We have six main ones on our website - the thing is that they do actively recommend us in their literature [and Fishmore Hall have said we can add them to our page] - we do however photograph Weddings all over Shropshire, Mid-Wales and into the Brecons, The Midlands, Cheshire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire. We are in Kent this June! So wherever your Wedding is taking place - please get in touch and find out what we can do to make your Wedding Day a Dream Day. Hope to hear from you soon. Warm regards. THIS WEEK AT ROWTON CASTLE

Hi Everyone

The photo above is my view from my office here at home! Martin went out last Thursday and took the photos below! Winter wonderland!

We are at Rowton Castle later this week and I wonder if it will be the first snowy Wedding we have had there. It is a very romantic venue and although snow causes problems for travel and walking around - I think Rowton Castle will look even more romantic and I know that it will be very warm and cozy inside with the fires! So looking forward to it and even Georgina and John have said they would like a dusting of snow!

I know that it might sound like I am just saying this - the fact is that we have only four Saturdays left this June/July/August and I think we will be fully booked within a week or so for those months - which I have to say is totally fantastic!

If you are planning your 2011 Wedding - please just get in touch for our details - we will keep the pricing for anyone who books us before Christmas this year. Oh dear did I just mention Christmas again! It is a long way off though!

So a belated Happy New Year to you all. I hope to hear from you if you are planning your Wedding - I would love to chat to you about your plans!

Warm regards. Julia

COLOURFUL WEDDING AT WALCOT HALL

Hi Everyone

Well I don't know how I did this but at the beginning of September I forgot to blog about Pippa and Keith's Wedding at Walcot Hall! I know we were busy and I was also planning to send some of the photographs to the Florist so I think it got put on to another 'to do' list!

Anyway I shall right the wrong and blog about that August day now! The Florist was Gail at Astounding Surroundings. I was really knocked out by the fabulous colours of this Wedding - they were just beautiful.

Pippa and Keith had their much loved VW Campervan there at Walcot Hall - which was also a star of the day. I don't think they will mind me saying that they had no entirely decided that they would have a Wedding Photographer - when I explained what we were all about on the 'phone and they came to see us - they changed their minds! They also had the Fun Wall in the evening which went down very well indeed.

We had a really fantastic day with Pippa and Keith and their guests and as always enjoyed the wonderful grounds at Walcot Hall.

I have put loads of their flower photographs in this blog - again just because I love the colours!

So if you are considering Walcot Hall near Lydbury North in South Shropshire as your Ceremony and/or Reception venue - we know it well and always have a great time there!

Warm regards. Julia
